Meditation can be a powerful tool that helps us to cope with stress, find grounding, and feel a sense of peace amidst the holiday busyness. In this quick but effective holiday meditation, we will walk through a series of practices that will help you cultivate resilience during this season, and beyond.
In evidence from empirical studies, reciting positive affirmations have been found to: decrease health-deteriorating stress, lead people to increase their physical activity (natural antidepressant!), make us more resilient to social pressures & feelings of exclusion, and help us avoid lingering on negative experiences.
